Shoe of the Week 1
Due to my obsession with shoes I have decided to feature my favourite shoe each week. So here is my first pair. This is a pair of Christian Dior heels with gorgeous embellishment and feather detail and is retailing for $1,100 at Neiman Marcus. If I could afford them I would have them shipped here to Durban immediately.
Breaking Dawn- The Wedding
It was said that the wedding of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in Part 1 of Breaking Dawn was one of the most anticipated weddings of this year- after Kate Middleton's of course. There were a lot of mixed feelings surrounding Bella's dress but I adored it- which was no surprise as Carolina Herrera is one of my favourite designers. Carolina stated that the dress took 6 months to make and she took into consideration the description of the dress in the book, Stephenie Meyer's input and who Bella Swan is- this allowed for the creation of a gorgeous wedding gown. I especially liked the back with the lace cut out and buttons. My favourite part of the wedding was probably her bridal shoes- even though at the ceremony she wore sneakers- and her beautiful hairpin. Everything came perfectly together with her hair and make up immaculately done. The actual wedding ceremony took my breath away- what is more perfect then an outside, romantic and whimsical wedding?

Essie Fall Collection 2011
A peak at Essie's new fall collection- how exciting considering that I just adore Essie. I love all these muted colours but my favourite is definately the "Lady Like (Pink)" and the main feature colour, "Carry On". I can not wait to add these new colours to my growing collection!
