Lately there has been a lot of talk about the "First Look". The first look basically implies that the bride and groom meet up- in their full attire- before the ceremony. Many do not like this idea as it is not traditional but it has been argued that it takes a lot of stress off of the bride and groom. Brides who have done this have said that the groom's reaction was something that would not have happened in front of friends and family and they insist that the ceremony is still special because of the friends, family, marriage officer/ priest and the music. Brides and grooms also say that by doing the photo shoot before the ceremony they get more time alone, spend most of the day together and have less pressure to rush the shoot- and the photographs are priceless. Sometimes it can be challenging for the photographer to catch the groom's first impression because most of the focus is on the bride or the ceremony area and lighting do not allow it. Would you consider doing the "first look"?
