Kate Middleton : A True Princess on her Wedding Day

Fashion history was made this morning as Kate Middleton walked down the aisle in her Sarah Burton (assistant and current creative director to Alexander McQueen) design, which was a true vision. What a lovely sight to see such a stunning and happy couple.

Fashion : My Design for Kate Middleton

Excitement is definitely in the air as we near the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. If I was to design a dress for her it would be a soft, feminine dress with many layers and a long veil. The asymmetry of my dress would suit her frame perfectly and the soft pearly pink would match her complexion.

At college we are required to design the type of dress we think Kate Middleton will wear when she walks down the aisle. Of course this is no easy task as she has a very elegant and refined style. While researching I came across so many different opinions of what Kate will wear, some think she will wear a huge ball gown dress while others picture her in an a-line dress. Besides the silhouette tongues are also wagging about the colour she will choose to wear: will it be ivory, white or something completely different.
