Here are my illustrations from my "From Paris with Lace" range. It was inspired by french boudoir, moulin rouge and innerwear as outerwear.

Fashion : Final Year Range

It was recently my final year fashion show at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. I was inspired by innerwear as outwear, moulin rouge and french boudoir and I was so pleased when everything successfully came together.

As most people already know for my end of year show (30 November 2011) I am doing a french boudoir and moulin rouge inspired range. Here is my second piece that I am currently sewing.

Here it is, my first outfit for our end of year range which I am currently sewing. The teddy will be made from stretch satin and the structured hood will be made from patterned upholstery fabric.

Fashion : Final Range Mood Board

In our third year we are required to create a range, for our end of year show, which will consist of 8 outfits. I love lingerie and decided to base my range around that. The feel and theme of my range is inspired by the French Boudoir and the fabrics and silhoueettes are inspired by the Moulin Rouge.

During the year I will post about my designs and progress but for now here is the mood board I created.
