Needle and Thread Inspiration

I love it when couples incorporate a theme into their wedding that truly represents them- the trick to getting this right though- and not tacky- is to be subtle. Due to my personal interest in sewing when I came across this latest theme I completely fell in love. The different decor pieces you can create using the "Needle and Thread" theme are endless and very creative.

Pearls as the Finishing Touch

To add a touch of glamour and elegance to your wedding ensemble, pearls are a sure way to go. Whether you are planning on being ultra-modern, sexy, classy or vintage there is a set of pearls for you. You can easily make them the focal point of your ensemble or just a complimenting factor- no matter what you decide they will never take away from your sparkly new ring.

Riki Dalal Bridal Collection 2013

I love coming across new designers and last year I was blown away by Israeli designers Inbal Dror and Yaki Ravid. This year there is another Israeli designer who has taken my breath away... Riki Dalal. The gowns are so beautiful, soft and feminine and if you are a lace lover then these are right up your alley. When you can eventually draw your eyes away from the stunning gowns you can appreciate the amazing photography and lighting.

Elaborate Wedding Dress Backs

Wedding dresses with elaborate backs are simply stunning. I would not necessarily say it is a new trend because it has been around for years making most of these gowns timeless pieces with beautiful lace cutouts. During the ceremony your back is to your guests the entire time so why not give them something beautiful to look at. You will also get very pretty photographs from all angles on your perfect day.

Natural Floral Crowns

I think these floral crowns are so beautiful and dreamy. They are perfect for a boho, shabby chic or vintage bride. Would you wear one on your big day?
